John,
Many of us spent yesterday celebrating America’s birthday and reflecting on how far our country has come over the past 248 years.
We now live in a country that has elected the first Black president and the first Black and first Asian-American female Vice President. We live in a country where a record number of women are serving in Congress, as executives at major companies, and have more resources and access than at any other time in our nation’s history.
Despite all of these achievements, we know that we have much farther to go to create true equity and prosperity for all.
This is why we’ve launched our “Vote for Human Needs” campaign to engage with infrequent voters so that everyone can have their voice heard and we can elect lawmakers who put the needs of the most vulnerable first.
Sign up to volunteer and help us make sure that infrequent voters have everything they need to make it to the polls to vote in November.
VOLUNTEER TODAY
We’re living through a pivotal moment in American history. There are politicians in office who want to suppress votes, pass inhumane immigration policies, and severely cut funding to critical human needs programs such as SNAP, Head Start, and Medicaid.
Many of these politicians are funded by ultra-wealthy billionaires who only care about their own interests, even if that means that the rest of us will suffer.
We may not have billions of dollars, but we’ve got millions of people―and in this country, voters still have the final say. Will you join us this election season to volunteer as we reach out to infrequent voters in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin? Click here to sign up to volunteer today.
After you add your name, I’ll be in touch with volunteer opportunities to help reach voters during this critical election.
Thank you for all you do,
Dominique Espinoza Policy and Strategic Partnerships Manager, CHN Action
P.S. Can’t volunteer? Donate today to support our critical work in reaching unregistered and infrequent voters.
