Team, Democrats have re-introduced the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, one of the most comprehensive voting rights bills in our history.

It would protect voters, especially voters of color, and ensure that we're free from far-right extremists' attempts to silence our voices.

I vowed to protect democracy and that means fighting to strengthen our voting rights. The late John Lewis was a hero of mine and the opportunity to support his legacy, especially as a Black man, is a dream.
