BJS 60-day notice

Public comments requested on the currently approved data collection on state correctional systems

BJS encourages comments on the extension of a currently approved collection, the National Corrections Reporting Program (NCRP). The NCRP is the only national data collection furnishing annual individual-level information about state prisoners at five points in the incarceration process: prison admission, prison release, annual year-end prison custody census, entry to post-custody community corrections supervision, and exit from post-custody community corrections supervision.

Submit your comments to the Office of Management and Budget through the Federal Register by September 3, 2024.
