John--

Thank you to all who joined in our first Virtual Spring Brunch!
While our circumstances have changed we are thankful to have been able to spend the morning enjoying breakfast with our local Democrats, Rep. Mikie Sherrill, Rep. Tom Malinowski and NJDSC Executive Director Saily Avelenda!  We are also pleased to have donated a portion of our proceeds to the Interfaith Food Pantry. and collaborated with local restaurants to deliver breakfasts to attendees.

About the Interfaith Food Pantry:

The Interfaith Food Pantry is the largest provider of free supplemental groceries in Morris County. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, the amount of food distributed on an emergency basis has tripled, and in just the last week the number of families seeking assistance on an on-going basis grew by 60%.  The Pantry thrives on community involvement and is in need of food and financial donations at this time.

For 25 years the Interfaith Food Pantry (IFP) has served low-income working families, seniors, people with disabilities and others in crisis by supplementing their monthly groceries during their time of need.  In 2019, more than 600 tons of nutritious food was distributed through two “Client Choice” Food Pantries, a home delivery program and through its network of 22 partner agencies served by its Mobile Pantry Program.  For more information, visit www.mcifp.org

Thank you to all who joined and contributed. Please stay safe, home and healthy!
