It only took 248 years, friend, but this past week, the Supreme Court sent us all the way back to the Revolutionary War.

In Trump v. United States, the Supreme Court declared that presidents have near-total immunity from criminal prosecution for “official” acts – effectively giving Donald Trump permission to seek revenge and retribution on his enemies and suffer no consequences.

And just like that, America’s got a King again.
