Your dedication has driven remarkable change. Read on to see what we've achieved together and what's next.

Dear Friend,

Thank you! Your incredible support and tireless efforts during this election period have truly made a difference. Together, we've pushed our feminist goals forward and made a lasting impact.

Thank you

We're so grateful for the actions you've taken to keep the feminist agenda front and centre. Supporters like you:

* Made this THE election when we took a stand against misogyny: You wrote to your candidates in droves, making it clear that a zero-misogyny election was what we expected and demanded.

* Enabled Fawcett to act: Without your ongoing engagement and support, we wouldn’t be able to continue to advocate for women, championing key issues directly with politicians and policy makers. Keep reading to see what we were able to do and achieve with you in it with us.

Time to Act

Thanks to our supporters and members, we were able to drive these changes:
1. #SheVotes24 Campaign: We co-launched the largest ever coalition of women’s organisations in the UK, representing over 120 groups and 10.5 million women and girls. This initiative focuses on workplace flexibility, the gender pay gap, ending violence against women and girls, and affordable childcare.

2. Zero-Misogyny Election Pledge: We led the charge with this pledge, urging candidates to commit to a zero-tolerance approach to misogyny during their election campaigning.

3. CallingSOS Campaign: We called for a dedicated Secretary of State for Women, amplifying women’s voices nationwide.

Our Key Campaigning Wins

We’re excited to share some fantastic wins that we’ve achieved together:
1. Misogyny as a Hate Crime: Four major parties, including the winning Labour party, have committed to making misogyny a hate crime. Now that they’re in power, we’ll keep pushing to ensure they follow through on their promise.

2. Key Manifesto Promises: All five major parties we analysed committed to making childcare more affordable and accessible. Four out of the five also pledged to tackle violence against women and girls and review parental leave. These critical issues have long been at the heart of our campaigns, and your support helped bring them to the forefront.

3. Zero-Misogyny Commitment: Members and supporters wrote to almost 1,500 candidates, urging them to commit to taking a zero-misogyny approach to election campaigning. Thanks to these efforts, more than 250 candidates signed the pledge, ensuring women’s rights and dignity were championed across the country. Visit our website ([link removed]) to see the full list of candidates who signed the pledge.

Post-Election Analysis

With the election results in, we’re delighted to share that we have achieved the largest proportion of women politicians ever, at over 40%! Check out our comprehensive analysis on our website. ([link removed])

But our work doesn’t stop here. Now the new government has been elected, we'll continue to campaign on the key issues to uphold and amplify women's rights. Watch this space as we share news and views, and ways for you to create change directly.

With heartfelt thanks,
Jemima Olchawski | CEO
