Over the last week, we’ve seen a lot of new uncertainty injected into the national political landscape:

A Supreme Court issuing unprecedented opinions, grabbing power for themselves and excusing the criminal acts of a president who attempted an insurrection,
-
A movement of MAGA authoritarians explicitly promising to crack down on dissent, target political opponents, and start a “second American revolution” if Republicans are allowed back in power,1
-
And a debate performance by President Biden that has led to a week of increasing uncertainty about the outcome of the nomination process.
Election Day in November is just four months from tomorrow. The stakes — which were already sky-high — are now that much higher.
If you’re feeling lost, scared, or anxious about the future in this moment, just know: you are not alone.
It’s at times like these when we take stock of what we do have. And, in our assessment, we’ve got a whole lot.
Our movement has proven that we can deliver real wins for the working class that improve people’s lives. We have a record to run on, and a powerful vision that we believe can inspire voters across the country.
And ultimately, we believe in our own capacity to organize a winning coalition that will defeat fascism in November — opening up the door for so many new possibilities of what we can achieve together.
