Each year, on Independence Day, we reflect on the values that make our nation strong: freedom, equality, and opportunity for all. This 4th of July, join us in celebrating those ideals and continuing our work to build a better and brighter future.

From the visionary founding fathers who proclaimed our independence, to the valiant activists who have championed civil rights and justice throughout our history, and the ordinary Americans of today who strive to better their communities, we have always come together to form a more perfect union.

Today, as we commemorate the anniversary of our nation’s independence with our friends and family — with barbecues, fireworks, and parades, we reflect on the work we have left to do to make good on the promise of America.
