As we come together to celebrate Independence Day, I'm filled with a deep sense of gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy in this great nation. Today, we commemorate the bravery and vision of our founders who forged a path to liberty against all odds.

For me, this day holds special meaning as an immigrant who found a home and opportunity in America. It's a reminder of the incredible promise this country offers to those who seek a better life and are willing to work hard for it. I'm proud to contribute to our democracy and give back to the country that has given me so much.

Today, Laura and I are raising our children to love and respect those who gave all. Independence Day is a time to honor those who have fought and continue to fight for our freedom. I am committed to ensuring our veterans receive the care, respect, and opportunities they deserve. Their sacrifices have shaped our nation and continue to provide us with the opportunities to live the free lives we do today.

As we gather with loved ones today, let's reflect on the values that unite us—freedom, opportunity, and resilience. Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication.

If you're celebrating our nation's independence around the district today, I hope to see you in Safford, Sierra Vista, Benson, Marana or Oro Valley! We will be in parades, at the parks, attending festivals and enjoying the fireworks.
