of July!

From our team to your family, we hope that you are taking the day to
reflect on the progress our country has made toward realizing climate
solutions, and the more just world we know is possible.

Imagine a future centered around affordable housing, fresh air free from
pollutants, and clean water for all. A future where we focus on investing
in jobs, care, climate, and justice. One where we don’t have to worry if
the earth will be habitable for generations to come.

We see the potential for everything our country can be. We have a plan to
get there: the Green New Deal. The Green New Deal makes robust investments
into building a cleaner and fairer world while tackling the biggest
challenges of the century: climate change, economic insecurity, and racial
injustice.

By taking our country back from the corrupt forces that have governed for
decades and transforming the fabric of our society to be community-led,
sustainably powered, and justly funded, we are investing in people and
communities rather than corporate profits, and creating millions of
good-paying jobs doing all the hard work necessary to avert the climate
crisis.

This is possible. We have the framework to make this happen. Today, while
we celebrate Independence Day, we hope you take some time to reflect on
the possibility of the greater, greener future we can create.
