Dear Friend,
On this day, 248 years ago our forefathers faced certain death and still took a stand against one of the most powerful countries the world had ever seen. Their bravery, faith, and belief in a better tomorrow led them in their fight against tyranny and against all odds they succeeded. Not only did they defeat the most powerful country in the world at that time, but they established the greatest country the world has ever seen. Ronald Reagan once said, “Freedom is never more than one generation from extinction,” and he was right. Now, more than ever, we must muster the strength, courage, and hope of our forefathers and ensure the next generation understands the importance of this sacred day and the values it represents. Freedom isn’t free.
May God continue to bless you and our great Nation.
Sincerely,
Congresswoman Debbie Lesko
