There’s no better day to express our gratitude through action than our nation's birthday, a miraculous historical birthday that has been 248 years in the making!

This day is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made, the battles fought, and the unwavering spirit that has carried us through centuries of challenges. As we honor our past, we must also look to the future with determination and a commitment to safeguard our nation’s values and freedoms.

With a high-stakes presidential election looming, there are key activities we can dedicate ourselves to, as well as recruit others for, in the coming months.

Your county is a pivotal player in the election process. Official election volunteers receive compensation at an average rate of $27 an hour nationwide.

1. Verify your voter registration status and change it to EARLY VOTER. If you prefer not to send your ballot by mail or drop it in an unsecured drop box, you can still drop it off at a local election office.

2. You can make a significant impact by becoming a voter registration advocate. Encourage friends, family, and neighbors to verify their voter registration and switch to early voting using our safe, free ACTVote.org website. Set up a voter registration table with QR Codes and laptops at houses of worship and local meetings.

3. Get sworn in and participate in the ballot-counting process. Joseph Stalin once said, “Those who vote decide nothing. Those who count the vote decide everything.”

4. We need poll judges and poll workers. Every polling station is to have equal major party representation; however, once recruiting and training have concluded, many polls may be left with only opposing party representation to oversee elections, which means NO OVERSIGHT.

5. Canvass and chase ballots! Volunteer at your local party headquarters to get out the vote and track ballots during the election. Your party leaders track votes cast by coordinated calls and door-to-door efforts until all votes are cast. This is a critical area where the Left often outperforms the Right, winning by slim margins in battleground counties.
