As we gather with friends and family to celebrate our nation's birth this Fourth of July, we are reminded of the freedoms we cherish and the sacrifices that have made them possible.
This day offers a moment to reflect on the courage and dedication of our military members who have served our country with honor. Their commitment ensures the liberties we enjoy, and for that, we are profoundly grateful.
At Catholic Charities, we are privileged to support those who have given so much for us. Last year, more than 100,000 veterans entered the doors of a local Catholic Charities Agency. Each was met with dignity and received help in areas as diverse as healthcare, housing, and job training.
