Here is my contract with you - no matter who’s in power in Westminster, I will always be your voice, I will always stand up for our values — and always get things done for our area. My track record is strong for delivering in Wiltshire over the last nine years. Recently I’ve helped to secure 171 extra Police Officers for Wiltshire, £2.4 million to improve resources in our schools, over £80 million to repair and resurface our roads, and £2.6 million for Wiltshire from our Rural Prosperity Fund. In contrast, a vote for any other party will risk setting Wiltshire back.

I am a local mum and live in a village within the constituency between Melksham and Devizes. I have served as an MP for the last nine years and I have always been a different type of MP - one who is visible, approachable and accessible. My passion is creating opportunities for all especially through education and standing up for common sense. You can judge me on my record of delivery, my way of seeking out local views and helping people, from stands at fetes and supermarkets to knocking on doors all year round. Take a look at the figures for my work over the last year at the bottom.

I know you might not agree with everything my party has done. I know you feel frustrated. I’ve often been as frustrated as you. But if you vote Lib Dem or Reform, it will help hand Keir Starmer and Angela Rayner a supermajority. With this blank cheque they can apply more tax to the state pension, local businesses, and your home.

The Lib Dems won’t be your voice because they’re on board with everything Starmer wants to do and they certainly won’t be a strong voice when it comes to immigration or taxation. Let’s face it Labour has no interest in Wiltshire.

I know some of you may be tempted by Reform but all the major polls show Reform will come 4th in this constituency. In fact a vote for Reform will simply help the Lib Dem’s in this seat.

The stakes are high. To guarantee your voice in the next parliament, elect me as your MP and I will always put our community’s interests first just as I always have.

But don't just take my word for it - below is what local residents think:

Jim, Local Pub Landlord and resident in Devizes said: "I know that Michelle will stand up for the best interest of our town and be a local voice who is down to earth and gets things done for us. She has already held Wiltshire's biggest careers fair for Devizes - and she's not even our MP yet!"

Steve Plummer, local resident in Melksham said: "I’ve never voted Tory before but will always vote for Michelle because of her clear commitment, work ethic and dedication to our community. Michelle has shown time and time again that she can make a difference locally.”

Donald Yule, local resident in Bradford on Avon said: “I trust Michelle. She has never given up on the one-way system and will always fight our corner. I have lived in Bradford on Avon for over 40 years and Michelle is hands down the best MP we have ever had."

Paul Carter, local resident in Melksham said: “I have a job where I have constantly seen Michelle working in the constituency. I’ve previously voted Lib Dem but can see no reason to ‘cut off my nose to spite my face. Without a doubt Michelle is the best candidate – she’s local, extremely hardworking and genuine.”

Emily, local student said: “Thanks to Michelle's career fair, I secured an internship. Her support has been pivotal in shaping my career."

Jack Churchill, local resident in Seend said: “I am fed up with the Tories but voting for Reform here will let the Lib Dems in, who showed at the Devizes hustings that they know nothing about the economy. Michelle Donelan will not just be a strong local voice, but she will hold Labour to account who are going to be terrifying on immigration and tax.”
