John, just by being a member of our community, you’re a powerful advocate for our mission. When you show your support of Autism Speaks, you help serve as a megaphone for the millions of voices in the autism community and we are so grateful.
Throughout World Autism Month, we’re sharing stories from our community. This week, since it’s National Volunteer Appreciation Week, we have a special focus on the many amazing volunteers who drive our mission forward - people who volunteer on the ground at local events, who donate their time as grassroots advocates, who fundraise on our behalf and so much more.
Meet one volunteer, Ronaldo, who in addition to being a talented artist, also volunteers each week at one of our local offices helping us fulfill our mission and serve our constituents.
We’re so grateful for volunteers like Ronaldo, and the thousands of others who dedicate their time, energy and resources to our cause. Help us celebrate week four of World Autism Month by taking Ronaldo’s lead! Your Kindness Quest for this week is to help create a kinder world by advocating and volunteering for the autism community.Visit our website to find out how you can get involved in an event or join our amazing team of grassroots advocacy ambassadors!
And don’t forget, an easy way to donate your time is by simply taking the pledge to create a kinder world and inviting your network to join you. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your continued support of our work to enhance lives today and accelerate a spectrum of solutions for tomorrow.
With kindness & gratitude, Lisa Goring Strategic Initiatives & Innovation Officer Autism Speaks
