It's not a stretch to say that Trump's first two weeks in
the White House rank among the most damaging and
embarrassing moments in our country's history.

The bad news is he's just getting started. And Republicans
in Congress have done nothing so far but roll out the red
carpet.

But I hope you won't lose sight of a few bright spots:

--All over the country, people are standing up and speaking
out against Trump's agenda -- organizing and marching, not
because they support one political party over another,
but in defense of the values that define what it means to be
American.

--Our Trump War Room has kept a spotlight on Trump's every
move around the clock, responded to every single one of the
administration's "alternative facts" -- on everything from the
size of his crowds to his deplorable and unfounded voter
fraud claims, on his ridiculous southern border wall, his
illegal Muslim ban, his gutting of the Affordable Care Act,
and more -- with the truth. And we are fighting to take down
his most offensive Cabinet nominees.

--Our first two DNC Future Forums have been huge successes,
giving grassroots Democrats a chance to share their visions
for the future of our party and hear from the candidates running
to be Chair and officers of the Democratic Party. And in a few
weeks, our new leadership will be in position and ready to
get to work against Trump's Republican Party by exposing
Trump's tyranny in real time and developing winning
strategies to reclaim Congress in 2018 and remove Donald
from office in 2020.

Make no mistake -- we still have a lot heavy lifting to do as
the Trump administration keeps getting started. But if we
work as a team, then I know there's no obstacle we can't
power through.
