Happy Independence Day, John!

Today is the day we set aside to recognize the courage and conviction it took our founding fathers to stand up to tyranny and begin the fight for our great nation.

One of my favorite parts about the 4th of July is walking in the parades, shaking hands, and meeting the wonderful people in the Great 8! 

I want to know: What's your favorite 4th of July tradition?

With the hockey season officially over, Independence Day is the unofficial start of summer for me! 

I love spending time with family, and friends and celebrating this great nation and the freedoms it bestows us.
