As we celebrate, we need to remember that these freedoms were not given to us―we fought for them. And if we don’t fight back, they could be taken away.
Trump’s MAGA minions have already taken away our freedoms to choose reproductive freedom. They’re not shy about what other freedoms they have in mind. Freedom to retire, freedom to get medical care when we need it. If MAGA oligarchs can profit from it, they will take it.
Generations of Americans stood together to build this nation. And I’ll be damned if we’re going to let Donald Trump of all people take a wrecking ball to what we built.
