Dear Mr. xxxxxx,

This week as we celebrate freedom and independence, one must ask: are you free?

I'm exceptionally proud to be an American. I believe that this country was founded on the great principles of liberty and prosperity. 

But a country that has no borders, a country that has $35 trillion in debt, a country whose government is weaponized against its own people, a country that doesn't even know how to define man and woman, or pay honor to God upon which this nation was founded… is not a free country.

We must change course.

In two years, America will turn 250 years old. Will we fight for the great nation founded by the brave men who declared themselves free of a tyrant? Or will we continue to give tyranny a foothold in a nation so many have given their last devotion? 

Thomas Jefferson wrote just prior the 50th anniversary of the Declaration, “May… the annual return of this day forever refresh our recollections of these rights, and an undiminished devotion to them.”

I pray on this Independence Day we remember the blessings of liberty and freedom those before us have fought and bled for.
