The past ten days have been incredibly challenging for our representative democracy. As the Supreme Court overturns important precedents and creates new legal standards for presidents, we must remind ourselves that we have faced dark times before—and it is up to us to continue to stand up for our republic.
Today, I’m grateful for the opportunity to celebrate our nation’s history and spend time with family and friends while reminding voters of the importance of voting this November for dedicated public servants like Angela Alsobrooks.
I hope you and yours have a wonderful day today, and I hope to see you out this fall reminding family and friends that there is nothing more patriotic than voting this November. I look forward to all the ways we’ll continue working together to improve our state and create a more equitable future for all.
My very best,
(She, Her, Hers)
