John,
On this 4th of July, there's a lot happening in our nation right now…
We are faced with unprecedented political turmoil: a sitting President who is clearly unfit for office, uncertainty about who the Democratic candidate will be, and a nation of citizens deeply concerned about our path forward.
And yet, while the political theater unfolds and post-debate discussion continues on, I urge you not to let this overshadow the core reason for our celebration today.
Despite the considerable challenges before us, America remains a steadfast beacon of hope and freedom, worthy of every effort we make to defend and cherish its ideals.
Today, we celebrate July 4th, 1776 - a day that changed the course of human history, establishing a new model of governance rooted in the principles of freedom, equality, and justice. Our rights, divinely endowed to us by God, are a testament to the visionary framework our Founding Fathers established. They envisioned a nation where all are created equal and granted unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
As we navigate through troubling headlines and the noise of political discourse, let us pause and reflect on how fortunate we are to be Americans, to live in a land where these foundational principles still guide us toward a more perfect union.
So, Happy Fourth of July, everyone. Spend time with your loved ones, reflect on the freedoms you enjoy, and consider the role each of us plays in preserving these liberties for future generations.
For Freedom,
Cole Muzio
