Friend,
On July 4th, 1776, our Founding Fathers launched the great American experiment. They set forth a vision of freedom, democracy, and opportunity that continues to guide us today.
In the 248 years since our nation was founded, America has remained a global beacon of freedom and strength, but our freedoms aren't free. Countless brave men and women have laid down their lives to defend liberty and preserve our way of life.
President Ronald Reagan famously said:
"Freedom is a fragile thing and it's never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by way of inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. And those in world history who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again."
His words still ring true today. We are so lucky to be Americans and live in a country where we can speak freely, practice the religion we choose, and have the ability to live our own versions of the American dream. During these tumultuous times, I hope everyone can reflect on how blessed we are to live in the greatest nation on earth and remember there is so much more that unites us Americans than divides us.
I hope you have a wonderful Fourth of July. God Bless America!
Best,
