See what your voices have achieved in the last few months alone. Thank you for being part of the movement.

Dear Jack,

From Indonesia to Tanzania, your tireless support has brought about real change for Indigenous peoples. See what your voices have achieved in the last few months alone:

• During this year’s Uncontacted Tribes Week, you sent over 50,000 protest emails to authorities in India, Brazil and Peru. It was one of the biggest weeks of campaigning in Survival’s history. Thank you so much for being an integral part of it.

Support our campaigns

• Since last year more than 20,000 of you have written in support of the Hongana Manyawa people of Indonesia, whose rainforest is being destroyed by nickel mining to make electric car batteries. Even though it’s still early days for the campaign, a top Indonesian politician has just voiced his backing for protecting the Hongana Manyawa’s land, something that would have been unthinkable even a year ago.

Make a donation today

• But that’s not all – the German chemicals giant BASF has just withdrawn from a $2.6bn project to build a huge refinery processing nickel from the territories of the uncontacted Hongana Manyawa. Thank you for keeping up the sustained pressure by emailing the company in protest. This is a real blow to the whole project to steal Hongana Manyawa lands for nickel mining, and a victory for the global campaign to stop it.

Donate now

• Meanwhile the European Commission has scrapped €9.4million of funding for violent conservation in Tanzania, following advocacy efforts by Survival and others. In the face of a vicious crackdown by the authorities to evict Maasai people to make way for trophy hunters and tourists, your support of Survival allowed us to document such abuses and act.

Thank you for standing with Indigenous peoples, Jack.
