Dear Friend, Happy 4th of July weekend from the campaign trail! Over the last two weeks as we have settled in to summer, my campaign took time to visit with partygoers and festival attendees for our glorious summer solstice week. I have met with so many old and new friends as we consider the future of our state at events, picnics and at the doors. One thing is for sure, we know how to pack all the work (and play) into a very short window of time. But while it is very busy and most people are thinking about their next outdoor adventure or where the fishing hole is hidden, I am asking for your support today. There are only four months before election day for your financial support because this is THE important race to preserve bipartisanship in the State Senate! I am trying to raise funds over the next three weeks before the first fundraising reports of the primary election day. I know that running up against corporate and family money will be a challenge, but it is too important to let the campaign be bought with hundreds of thousands of dollars. Instead, I am asking for your grassroots support and any dollar amount can be meaningful.

With your support, I will defend the seat, win again and continue to keep a strong bipartisan majority intact and working for ALL Alaskans. Alaska faces some very challenging times from an emerging workforce, flat budgets, a volatile commodities market and global factors out of our control.
