Just in the last week, the far-right Supreme Court gave Donald Trump broad presidential immunity from crimes committed in office—making the president more like a king. Meanwhile, states like Oklahoma and Louisiana are requiring the Bible and Ten Commandments be taught in schools.
It’s hard to recognize this country as the same one that declared our independence from tyranny and religious persecution over two centuries ago.
But if we stand together and fight harder than ever to elect values-driven leaders up and down the ballot, like President Biden and Senator Baldwin, then we can protect our democracy from Donald Trump and his MAGA cronies and restore our fundamental values –
