John
This headline is chilling, infuriating, arrogant… we could go on. But this is the reality we could face if we allow Trump back in the White House. The head of Project 2025 works for the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think-tank just a few blocks from the US Capitol building.
If you’re unfamiliar with Project 2025, it's a 920-page document that contains a playbook for the first 180 days of Trump’s term. It includes policy proposals and executive initiatives to carry out an ultra-conservative agenda: mass deportations, tax cuts for the wealthy, a national abortion ban, opposition to same sex marriage, and a litany of other dangerous ideas.
Incomplete list of proposals and initiatives laid out in Project 2025:
Build camps to detain immigrants
End “birthright citizenship”
Target journalists for prosecution
Bring federal independent agencies under presidential control
Strip employment protections from tens of thousands of longtime civil servants
Purge officials from intelligence agencies, law enforcement, the State Department and the Pentagon
Appoint lawyers who would bless Trump's agenda as lawful
It’s no secret that this presidential election will be decided by a small margin. If you’ve been on our email list for a while, you already know where we’re going with this. There are over 4 million young Latinos who will become eligible to vote before the November election. If we get these young progressive voters to turn out, we can make sure Project 2025 is never enacted.
We are working in states across the country to register and mobilize these young progressive voters ahead of November.
Our work is powered by grassroots supporters like you. If you’d like to support our mission and stop Trump, please consider a $24 donation >> ([link removed])
