ADL Poll on Antisemitism Reveals Disturbing Trends
A

new ADL survey polling antisemitic and anti-Israel attitudes across the J7 task force countries - home to the largest Jewish populations outside of Israel - found that nearly 40 percent of respondents agreed with at least six antisemitic tropes. Other major findings included:

56% of respondents agreed with the “dual loyalty” trope - the notion that Jews are more loyal to Israel than to their home country
-
The trope “Jews are responsible for most of the world’s wars” increased to 23 percent in Argentina (from 13 percent in 2019), 19 percent in the US (from 5 percent in 2015), 17 percent in France, (up from 3 in 2023), and 17 percent in Germany, (from 4 percent in 2023)

The trope “Jews still talk too much about what happened to them in the Holocaust” ranged from 66 percent in Argentina and 55 percent in Germany, to 28 percent in the United Kingdom and 33 percent in the United States

Europe
In the first half of 2024, ADL conducted 55 Words to Action trainings across Europe in 15 countries and 29 cities. Working with 40 partner organizations, ADL equipped 848 Jewish youth and young adults in Europe with tools to address antisemitism, anti-Zionism and anti-Israel bias in their everyday lives.
Andrew Srulevitch, Senior Regional Director for Europe, met with the new leadership of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Spain in Madrid to discuss ADL education programs in Spain and advocacy opportunities. He also met with the Spanish government’s representatives and diplomats.
