Hello Friend,
As I shared last week, the recent Supreme Court decision upholding the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA) was a crucial win. But a person's reproductive rights and health should never be put at risk. This decision only underscores how vulnerable these rights are and the urgent need for a federal abortion policy solution.
That is why we are calling on you for support.
Because, there is power in numbers. And our work won't stop until everyone is guaranteed access to care, without exception.
Thanks to a generous donor matching up to $15,000 in donations, your contribution today will be DOUBLED! [[link removed]]
Your contribution will help to fuel change to the neighbors in your community - for that person in need of access to safe abortion three states over - and in advocacy efforts to create long-term solutions.
I hope you'll join us in being a part of the movement.
With gratitude,
Abiha

Honestly, we have mixed feelings. The Supreme Court (SCOTUS) has upheld the right to emergency abortion care, protecting the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA), for now.
This decision today shows us there is a clear need for a federal abortion policy solution, no one should ever have to be concerned that their right to healthcare will be taken away by the courts .
We will win only when we secure federal protections for abortion and expand abortion access nationwide. We need your support now more than ever.

The Idaho v. United States and Moyle v. United States cases could have allowed doctors to deny emergency abortion care to pregnant people, that is protected by EMTALA. Such a decision would have disproportionately affected marginalized communities, making it even harder for them to receive urgent medical care.
Everyone deserves the right to treatment for emergency medical conditions, including abortion care. We aren’t satisfied with stopping there… We need abortion access FOR EVERYONE. Period.
Your support helps us fight today's battles and lay the groundwork for a movement that will protect our rights for years to come. Donate today [[link removed]] to support the movement.
