I was born in Soviet Ukraine to a Jewish family during the height of the Cold War. When I was three years old, my mother died of cancer, and my father fled from the authoritarian regime we were living under with me, my brothers, and my grandmother.
As immigrants, we attended public school and learned English. After graduating, my twin brother Alex and I decided to serve our country in the military.
But after a two-decade-long career in the Army, my brother and I were fired by President Trump for blowing the whistle on Trump’s attempted extortion of the Ukrainian President — his first attack on our democracy.
So now I have a new mission: defend our rights and freedoms against MAGA extremists.
This November, our most fundamental rights are on the ballot – from a woman’s right to access abortion care to a student’s right to learn in a safe, high-quality public school, a worker's ability to enter the middle class, and a voter's right to make their voice heard.
In Congress, I’ll fight to protect and expand those rights — but I need your help to get there.
Will you help make sure my campaign is ready to win in November by making a split donation to me and Tim Kaine today?
I greatly appreciate any support you can give, and I promise to never stop fighting for what’s right.
Sincerely,
Eugene
