[1]Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for Congress
This is the cycle where we are seeing a confrontation with AIPAC – the
American Israel Public Affairs Committee — happen head on for the first
time.
For so long the fear of standing up for Palestinian human rights and
actually fighting for a lasting peace has been the third rail in American
politics.
This is the cycle where we’ve decided, between the absolute indiscriminate
attacks and an unfolding genocide in Gaza, that we are standing up and
saying: Enough.
From Day 1 we have called for a ceasefire in the region. Since Day 1, we
have advocated for the human rights of Palestinians. And from Day 1, they
have put a target on our back.
There isn't just one election this November – there are hundreds.
The left must win as many of them as possible to halt the immediate threat of
fascism and expand our strength in Congress to chart a path of policy
transformation. We can, and must, do both.

leadership PAC, Courage to Change — $1 for each team? Your support will have
an immediate impact on progressive campaigns, their ability to organize, and
their shot at victory over AIPAC.
I want to be very clear that AIPAC is not representative or in alignment
with the views of the vast majority of Americans, of Democrats, and
especially generationally, many in the Jewish community.
They seek to artificially conflate some of the most conservative and
war-hawk stances with bad faith accusations that criticism of the
Netanyahu Administration or how Gazans are treated is somehow
anti-semitic.
We must stand up undeterred.
They’re raising significant resources from, and are financed by,
Republicans. They endorse Republicans who supported the January 6th
attacks.
It’s so important to understand that the threat to democracy — both that
Netanyahu represents in Israel and that Trump represents in the United
States — are being supported by many of the individuals that support AIPAC
as well.
This is a question of democracy. This is a question of making sure that we
are not torn up by the racist attacks that AIPAC engages in.

For the first time in modern American politics, conditioning aid to Israel
is becoming a mainstream conversation in D.C. That has never happened
before.
And it’s happening because of the support, activism, and organizing of
people like you.
Thank you,
Alexandria
