Trump v. United States, you’re not alone. In an instant, six right-wing justices undid 248 years of democracy, granting Presidents broad immunity from prosecution for their wrongdoing — giving them the power of kings.
If Trump wins in November, the highest court in the land just gave him permission to seek revenge and retribution on his enemies and suffer no consequences. I’m going to ask you to chip in $24 to help us win this fight but let me explain the stakes:
This decision comes just days after these same conservative justices struck down the
Chevron deference, a 40-year-old legal precedent that protected regulations on things like food and drug safety, workers’ rights, and the environment. Without Chevron, these protections could be weakened or eliminated in the courts.
And let’s not forget in 2022, when the Trump-packed Supreme Court overturned
Roe v. Wade, stripping women of their reproductive rights and endangering their health.
These are the stakes of elections. If Trump wins in November, he could appoint one, two, or even three more MAGA extremist justices to the Supreme Court and effectively destroy our democracy.
But his path to victory runs straight through Wisconsin. Can you chip in $24 to win Wisconsin, stop Trump, and end the Supreme Court’s attacks on our democracy?
