John,
Earlier this week, a judge in Louisiana blocked President Biden’s pause on new liquified fracked gas (LNG) export permits.
The oil and gas industry was desperate to reverse Biden’s pause so they could continue drilling and maintain enormous profits. But President Biden still has the power to reject permits for all new LNG export projects. And he must.
Urge President Biden to use his executive power and reject permits for all new LNG exports!

STOP FRACKED GAS EXPORTS

This decision to reverse the pause comes less than a week after the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) voted to approve a permit for a massive LNG project called Calcasuieu Pass (CP2) slated for Louisiana. It’s one of many oil and gas export projects currently being considered.
Most of these facilities are being proposed along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico – a region already disproportionately burdened with massive amounts of toxic pollution from the fossil fuel industry.
President Biden must take bold action and stop these dirty projects to protect our communities and climate. Send a message now!

STOP FRACKED GAS EXPORTS

Stopping LNG exports is critical to avoiding the worst impacts of climate change. LNG projects like CP2 require more fracking and pipelines and create enormous amounts of climate pollution.
We need to do everything we can to end fossil fuels, including stopping fracked gas exports. President Biden has the authority to do this, but it will take a big push from all of us. Will you take action now?
