Friend, what happened over the last several days is so, so much bigger than what the media is covering right now.

So much bigger that absolutely HUGE stories are falling through the cracks and off the radar. The Supreme Court eviscerating the ability of the federal government to run is one of them. Trump’s complete immunity from criminal prosecution is another.

And here’s one more — a story that could really, truly turn the election against the GOP:

The Heritage Foundation (a Republican think tank doing all the policy leg-work for the Trump administration) released their wishlist for the federal budget. Within it are draconian cuts that would eviscerate the rights, the care, and the benefits that members of the United States Military earn.

They want to slash the Basic Allowance for Housing for families on Active Duty. They want to privatize TRICARE. They want to completely reform disability compensation for Veterans — privatize it for some, slash it for others, and kick some off of it entirely. So much more, too.

They put enough in this budget that we could run ads on it from today until Election Day — and we intend to. This is a conversation we MUST have if we’re going to convince them that the Republican Party is pro-war, but anti-Troop.
