Hello friend,

Tomorrow, we head to the ballot box and we can’t get over how much we’ve achieved together since the election was called.

Thousands of us have signed petitions, emailed candidates, written letters and asked questions at hustings events to get debt on the agenda. Together, we’ve made sure we couldn’t be ignored.

We’ve forced the global debt crisis into the press and under the nose of whoever forms the next government. Our protest outside the offices of financial giant BlackRock was covered by national press, we delivered our petition for a new debt justice law to party leaders and hit the headlines with our warnings over the severity of the global debt crisis.

To force the household debt emergency onto candidate’s agendas, we made sure every party had our Together Against Debt manifesto.

Hundreds of us wrote to our MP candidates about the growing number of people in unmanageable debt and our campaigning hit the headlines again when Channel 4 News featured our Together Against Debt group in Manchester in their report on the cost of living crisis.

If you missed the chance to hear our incredible activists talking about their own experiences of personal debt and what should be done about it, click the button below to watch the inspiring and powerful online event we held with them last week.

Thank you again for being part of a movement that is dedicated to building power and winning justice. We couldn’t do any of this without you.

We’ll be in touch after the election. In the meantime, have a good general election day!

All the best,

In solidarity,

Zak, Wiz, Heidi and all at Debt Justice

Justice is possible

Across the world, millions of people’s lives are being destroyed by unfair debt.

But when we act together, we have the strength to win justice and build a fair economy that puts human life before debt.
