The MenC vaccine was introduced in the UK in 1999, leading to sustained declines in MenC disease. Anti-vaccine influencers misusing mortality graphs to claim vaccines don't work are easily debunked by data showing the drop in meningococcal disease rates with vaccine introductions. The MenACWY vaccination program also showed a herd protection effect.
