============================

John, tomorrow is America’s birthday, and we have ONE THING every one of us can contribute to making America stronger before the fireworks:

CHECK YOUR VOTER REGISTRATION STATUS → [[link removed]]

It’d be fair to assume that because you voted in the last election, you’re still registered to vote. But that’s not always the case.

Many of us move homes between elections, states conduct routine ‘purges’ to update voter rolls, and each state makes its own voting and election rules on the requirements needed to stay eligible to vote.

Visit our Voter Hub NOW to check your voter registration status against official state records to confirm you are still registered and eligible to participate in the upcoming election. You can’t make your voice heard if you’re not registered, so check your status today.

Already registered? Great! Reaching out to your friends and family to urge them to vote increases the likelihood that they will. So make sure you encourage them to check their status, too.

Voting is one of the most powerful ways we can participate in democracy, and one of the best ways to get ready for America’s birthday is to make sure you’ll be able to make your voice heard in the election.

Even if you can’t vote, the policy decisions elected officials make still affect you. Getting involved doesn’t always mean casting a ballot at the polls — you can make an enormous impact by supporting your community and other eligible voters who will vote with your interests in mind. Remind your friends and family to check their registration status. Then, help them register to vote.

Thanks for all you do, and we hope you have a great July 4th!

Thank you for being a dedicated supporter of the National Domestic Workers Alliance!

We're working day and night to win respect, recognition, and labor rights and protections for the more than 2.5 million nannies, house cleaners, and homecare workers.

The majority of domestic workers sit at the center of some of our nation’s most decisive issues because of who they are and what they do: they are women – mostly women of color, immigrants, mothers, and low-wage workers. They are impacted by almost every policy affecting the future of our economy, democracy and country.

Domestic workers can lead us toward a new, inclusive vision for the future for all of us -- and your grassroots support is the fuel that can get us there.
