I want to personally thank you for being a part of this grassroots team.
Without you, our work wouldn't be as strong. Your support is what allows us to move the needle for voting rights across the country.
Last week marked the somber anniversary of Shelby County v. Holder. Eleven years ago, the Supreme Court found important parts of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 unconstitutional — which ushered in a flood of voter suppression laws and practices targeting Black and brown voters.
This is why our work is so important — especially in an election year. We sound the alarm wherever and whenever voter suppression is taking place, in Georgia and beyond. If anti-voter politicians gain power this year, they’ll double down on their voter suppression tactics for future elections and launch challenges against the laws that protect our right to vote.
That’s why I’m grateful to have activists like you on Team Fair Fight at this critical juncture for the future of our country.
We’re committed to working towards a democracy where every voter has the opportunity to make their voice heard. Thank you for doing your part.
