For Funded Providers ? New Working Parent Entitlement for children aged 9+ months
With this new entitlement starting in September 2024, Nottingham City have had 725 eligibility codes issued by HMRC, 170 of which have been validated, giving us an average validation rate of 23%, which is brilliant and 5% higher than both the national and the East Midlands average!? This also means 77% of issued codes are yet to be validated in the city, so please remember that when parents present their code, they need to be promptly verified on the portal, the same as all other working parent codes, before you offer the parent a funded place.? If you have any issues checking codes, please email [email protected]
A polite reminder that the deadline for SENCO Audit returns has now passed. If you haven't done so please could you complete and return as soon as possible to the SEND inbox address [email protected]?

?
The first workshop for Children?s frontline staff will take place virtually over Teams on the 11th of July 2024 10:00-11:30h, with a few subsequent workshops until the go-live date for the new directory in April 2026.
