John, thank you.

When Chrissy asked me to run her campaign, I enthusiastically said yes because I shared her vision of service to her community and country…and she gives me hope…and, like me, she loves Disney and Tootsie Rolls. 🙂

I knew there were many people behind the scenes, in SEPA and across the country, who were part of a community of support - who gave money every now and then, who volunteered every now and then, and who follow, like, and share her on social media. I didn’t appreciate how deep and engaged this community is and it’s been such a great experience over the last few months to be part of it.

I have been repeatedly struck by how many people have been motivated to come off the sidelines and pitch in to make sure we can prevail on November 5. Phonebankers, canvassers, texters, postcarders, committee people and every volunteer: whether you’ve talked to one voter so far this cycle or one hundred, I see you and can’t thank you enough. You are the heart and soul of our team.

Thank you, thank you for helping us to meet our goals last quarter. On behalf of Chrissy and the whole team, thank you for being there when it matters most. Thanks for helping to elect her and good, strong Democrats up and down the ballot.

Now let’s go do it again. :-)
