This decision is dangerous, anti-democratic, and unprecedented.

With their 6-3 decision in Trump v. United States, the Court’s ultra-conservative justices just rolled out the red carpet.
This extremist Supreme Court, with a majority of its justices appointed by Republican presidents who lost the popular vote, has issued a decision that will live in infamy. It is now clear that defeating Trump at the ballot box is our only way forward to save our democracy. This shocking, destructive decision that Donald Trump will have immunity for official acts validates the former president’s attempts to undermine our democracy.
It flies in the face of our founding principles that no one, not even the president, is above the law.
