The Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing announces the statewide launch of our comprehensive case management program!

Our mission is to empower individuals who are Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing, Late Deafened DeafDisabled, and have speech disabilities through personalized support, services and collaboration.


* Individuals: If you or someone you know, qualifies and might benefit, our case management services are tailored just for you.
* Families: We’re committed to supporting families navigating the unique challenges faced by their loved ones.
* Service Providers: We’re in this together! We work together to create an inclusive and accessible environment for all.

* Planning: Together, we chart a path toward personal success.
* Support: We actively support your right to information and access to resources.
* Collaboration: We connect you with services and providers.

Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing has already begun supporting case management services in multiple regions statewide; and now we are offering services throughout western Washington! You can access case management services and contact your case manager in the following regions:


* Bellingham: Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, San Juan, Island and King Counties - Jena Floyd
* Seattle: King and Kitsap Counties - Irvine Stewart
* Tacoma: Clallam, Jefferson, Grays Harbor, Mason, Thurston, Pierce and King Counties - Marlene Swarts
* Spokane: Chelan, Douglas, Ferry, Grant, Lincoln, Okanogan, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Stevens and Whitman Counties - Valerie Davis
* TriCities: Adams, Asotin, Benton, Columbia, Franklin, Garfield, Walla Walla, Kittitas and Yakima Counties - Shalawn Childs

*Who We Are:* The Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ODHH) provides programs and services for Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, Hard of Hearing, Late Deafened, and Speech Disabled individuals, their families, and service providers in Washington State. 

*What We Do:* ODHH operates under the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) and is entrusted with fulfilling its legislative mandate outlined in RCW 43.20A.725. ODHH’s work includes:

_Advocacy_: ODHH advocates for the rights, interests, and needs of individuals who are Deaf, DeafBlind, Deaf Disabled, Hard of Hearing, Late Deafened, and Speech Disabled. The Office works to eliminate communication barriers and promote equal opportunities in various service areas, including training, consultation, contract management, information and referrals, and resources to promote communication equity.

_Coordination:_ ODHH is a centralized resource. The Office collaborates with governmental, business, and community stakeholders to develop and implement policies, programs, and initiatives that address and ensure that state services and resources are accessible and inclusive to all Washingtonians.
