In 2 days, across America, we are supposed to celebrate our independence from kings and tyrants.

But it feels somewhat hollow given that the Supreme Court #MAGAmajority just allowed the presidency to become a dictatorship by granting Donald Trump immunity for any "official" actions.

They essentially spat on our Constitution – which I took an oath to defend when I joined the Army at 17 – and gave up on their responsibility to check the other branches' power. Well, if they won't serve their role as a check on the president, there's another branch of government that can and MUST: Congress.

But right now, MAGA Mike Johnson is Speaker and MAGA pushovers like Brian Fitzpatrick will NEVER hold Trump accountable. Which is why we MUST flip control of the House.

This race has been named one of Democrats' best chances to flip a red seat – and polling shows voters side with us when they hear our message.

I swore to defend our Constitution from all enemies when I was in the Army, and I'll do the same thing in the halls of Congress. I just need your help to get there. Can you please chip in $10 or more?

NONE of this would be happening if Brian Fitzpatrick had the courage to hold Trump accountable for January 6th – but he's never had the courage to stand up to MAGA… and he never will.

If our democracy – the one that was born nearly 248 years ago – is to survive, then we need leaders who have the courage to do the right thing.

How do you know I have the courage to do the right thing if elected? Because I promised to give no less than my life for this country. Because I've flown into battle to defend our values.
