I know you heard from me and my team quite a bit over the last couple of weeks as we faced our biggest test so far. I want to take a moment and say thank you for your incredible support ahead of last weekend’s first fundraising deadline of our campaign. I’m proud to share that we not only met -- but we exceeded -- our fundraising goal.
Every one of you stepped up, and we’re going into summer with strong momentum to reach more folks with our message of making California add up for everyone. Early support is critical to our efforts, and thanks to you, we’re solidly on our way to having the resources to push confidently forward in this highly competitive race.
I look forward to meeting new friends and neighbors across California in the weeks ahead. And if we haven't yet, I look forward to meeting you too, John.
