Today, I’m emailing just to say thank you. As of Sunday at midnight, we closed the books on our toughest hurdle yet of the election year — our latest fundraising deadline to the Federal Election Commission.

And I am immensely happy to report that we met our goal! I am overwhelmed by the sheer amount of support this campaign has received from community members like you — so, thank you so much.

I’ve said this a million times already but I need to reemphasize it: This campaign is first and foremost a grassroots, community effort. Every single moment of support you’ve given — whether it be peer-to-peer or just $5 — has made a HUGE difference. And it’s going to make an even bigger difference come Election Day.

This is a critical election year. I’m sure you’ve heard it from dozens of candidates and politicians in your inbox, but it’s true. In November, we’re going to decide the future of our democracy, reproductive health care, and the House majority. And in November, we have a real shot of flipping TX-15 blue — the first step to taking back the Democratic House majority.

Together, I know we can do this thing.
