Amanda is tireless in her work to improve Pennsylvania and advocate for our residents, and June was another month full of wins! Check out some of the highlights:
Amanda is working to improve our criminal justice system and enhance support programs for incarcerated individuals and their families. She helped secure over $1 million for improvements across Montgomery and Delaware County, and is fighting to ensure families can reach their incarcerated loved ones by phone at no cost. Although abortion remains legal in Pennsylvania, Amanda continues to call attention to obstacles that persist in actually accessing care. You can read her statement regarding The Supreme Court’s recent decision to keep emergency care legal, and check out her remarks on the second passing of the Dobbs decision here.
Alongside Representative Mary Jo Daley, Amanda advanced legislation to improve food labeling practices to make grocery options safer and easier to understand for those with diagnoses like Celiac Disease. Read more on the bill here.
Finally, Amanda rounded out the month at a fundraiser to support her re-election campaign hosted by Women Rise PA. Thank you so much to everyone who was able to join us, and congratulations to our cornhole competition winners!
