The Jane Fonda Climate PAC raised a staggering $86,000 from emails alone last quarter! That's right, thousands of dedicated grassroots supporters like you — brimming with hope for real change — came together to fuel our mission. And oh, what a mission it is!

If you ever wonder whether your support makes a difference, let me assure you — it absolutely does. Here’s a glimpse of what we've accomplished together this year:

• I’ve emailed you a few times about the dangerous referendum Big Oil was trying to put on the ballot in California to overturn an existing 2022 law that banned new oil drilling within 3,200 feet of schools, homes, and other sensitive areas. Well, on the eve of the June 27th deadline to remove measures from the CA ballot, Big Oil buckled under the enormous weight of our collective pressure and dropped the referendum voluntarily. But not before wasting $61 million on their efforts. Thank you for all you did to make this win possible.


• Across states like Arizona, Oregon, Texas, and Colorado, we've endorsed more than a dozen candidates who are fighting to transition to clean energy, hold the fossil fuel giants accountable, and say a big, fat NO to Big Oil money.


• Our endorsed candidate Molly Cook won the special election in Texas, making her the first openly LGBTQ+ member to serve in the Texas State Senate. Additionally, Elliott Hood advanced in the Democratic primary race last week for CU Regent at Large in Colorado.


• Remember the primary in California earlier this year? Several of our endorsed climate champions came out on top, including Laura Friedman, who triumphed in a 15-way primary to replace Adam Schiff in Congress!


• And let's not forget Arizona. While national headlines might miss these stories, we’re laser-focused on critical down-ballot races. Take the Salt River Project, for instance, where we helped elect three climate champions to the SRP Board. These leaders are now in prime positions to push for sustainable energy practices. Plus, we’ve endorsed 11 bold candidates who have a historic opportunity to create a pro-climate majority in the Arizona state legislature.

This, my friend, is what the power of your support looks like. This is the tangible impact of collective action.

Don’t get me wrong — there’s still a lot of work ahead, and the road won't be easy but I’ve never been more hopeful. With you by my side, I believe we can break free from the greedy clutches of the fossil fuel industry and create a sustainable future for our children and grandchildren.
