This week’s Independence Day celebrations remind me of all that the people are capable of in our great nation. We’re not perfect but we’re always fighting to be better, and I truly love spending time celebrating that spirit with the folks in our community and district.

And it’s with that in mind that I take this fight for Southeast PA so seriously. Because we have seen the dangers of an extreme Republican party to our country and our future, and we can’t take their direct threats to our democracy lightly.

So this Independence Day, celebrate what we’ve accomplished and dream of what we’re capable of — together.
