Hello Everyone,

As we look back on the vibrant colors of June and the inclusive spirit of Pride Month, I am honored to join you in cherishing the rich diversity of our great state of Indiana. The past month was particularly meaningful—a time when we reaffirmed our dedication to equality, respect, and justice for ALL Hoosiers. Looking ahead, we will continue to embrace and celebrate this diversity, ensuring that inclusivity remains a cornerstone of our community fabric.

Recently, there have been concerning developments threatening the rights and safety of LGBTQ+ individuals across the country. Various legislative proposals have aimed to:

⇒ Restrict LGBTQ+ individuals' access to healthcare

⇒ Limit their ability to participate in public life

      ⇒ Undermine their fundamental rights

These measures perpetuate discrimination and pose significant challenges to achieving equality and inclusivity for all Americans.

As your Governor, I am committed to addressing these challenges head-on. I believe in a future where every person, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, can live freely and authentically without fear of discrimination or exclusion.

When elected, I will work tirelessly to ensure that Indiana upholds its commitment to equality and justice for all. This includes:

      1.  Protecting Transgender Rights: I will oppose any legislation that seeks to marginalize or exclude transgender individuals from healthcare services or participation in school activities. Everyone deserves equal access and opportunities to thrive.

      2.  Advancing Inclusive Education: I will advocate for inclusive education policies that teach respect and understanding of LGBTQ+ identities in our schools. Education is key to fostering acceptance and combating prejudice.

      3.  Supporting Anti-Discrimination Laws: I will push for comprehensive anti-discrimination laws that protect LGBTQ+ individuals in employment, housing, and public accommodations. No one should face discrimination because of who they are or who they love.

      4. Promoting Mental Health and Well-being: I will prioritize resources and support for LGBTQ+ youth and adults facing mental health challenges. It's crucial that we provide safe spaces and accessible mental health services for everyone in our community.

Together, we can build a future where diversity is celebrated, equality is upheld, and every person in Indiana can live with dignity and pride. Let's continue to stand together in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community and work towards a more inclusive and equitable Indiana.

Thank you for your unwavering support and commitment to creating positive change. Together, we will make a difference. ALL means ALL.

Let's go!
