Friend,
The November election isn’t the only upcoming battle for democracy in Wisconsin. There’s a sleeper menace coming up in about 40 days.
Wisconsin’s Republican-led State Legislature has put two Constitutional amendments on the Wisconsin ballot on August 13th. And they are bad.
These amendments are a power grab that would undermine checks and balances and give MAGA Republicans in the Legislature sole power over deciding how to distribute critical federal funds. The impacts could be far-reaching—it could create roadblocks in getting critical federal emergency funding to our first responders.
That’s why we need YOU to help spread the word to VOTE NO on these amendments on August 13. Can you chip in $24 to support our work telling ALL Wisconsin voters to VOTE NO on both amendments?

Constitutional amendments in Wisconsin are unique. They aren’t subject to Governor Evers’ veto, which means it’s up to all of us to stop this.
That means organizing door-to-door and making calls to our neighbors, and working to hold the GOP accountable in the press. It means recruiting volunteers, and encouraging friends and allies to speak up in every way they can.
We want voters on August 13th to know exactly what’s at stake—and why Republicans are trying to do it.
Be a part of ending this power grab by donating to WisDems. Chip in $24 to help spread the message to VOTE NO on August 13 »
