Dairy Processor Modernization Grant Applications Open

The Northeast Dairy Business Innovation Center's *Dairy Processor Modernization Grant [ [link removed] ] *is open now to applicants in 11 Northeast states, including Maine.

Funding will focus primarily on acquiring specialized equipment, and should address one or more of the following areas:


* Expanded processing capacity
* Increased facility efficiencies
* Implementation of packaging improvements

Grants will range from $15,000 to $350,000, with a 25% (cash or in-kind) match commitment required. At least 75% of grant funds must be used for eligible specialized equipment purchases.  

Total funds available: $1,200,000.  

*Applications are open from June 27 to August 8, 2024 at 2:00 pm ET. *
